Questions, answered
Do I need to connect my bank account?
No. Sorted never asks for bank logins. You enter income and expenses yourself or import a CSV your bank already provides, so your data stays yours.
How does it work out GST?
For amounts you mark as GST-inclusive, Sorted estimates the GST using the standard 1/11 rule and flags items to confirm — some purchases are GST-free. It also flags items to categorise and review, so your figures are organised and easy to check before BAS. Sorted is a tool to help, not a registered tax agent.
Can my accountant use the export?
Yes. With one click you generate a categorised pack — a clean CSV, a PDF summary and the matching receipts — for any BAS quarter or the full financial year, ready to hand over.
